Check-in was at the modern and vibrant Aloft Green Bay, a boutique hotel just steps from the Fox River, in Ashwaubenon. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, its bold colors, wall art, and inviting social spaces made me feel part of a new kind of hospitality — ideal for curious, youthful-spirited travelers.

The room offered everything needed to unwind: a functional, cozy design, smart details that enhance the stay, and a peaceful view connecting us to nature. Aloft strikes the perfect balance between comfort and energy — something deeply appreciated after such a packed day.

Dinner that evening was pure charm:
We dined at River’s Bend, a classic Wisconsin supper club nestled along Duck Creek, beloved by locals and visitors since 1974. In a warm, timeless atmosphere, we rediscovered the charm of traditional Midwest dining, reimagined with modern culinary touches.

Soft lighting filled the space, with large windows framing the peaceful water and lush greenery. The menu offered American comfort food classics: perfectly cooked meats, fresh seafood, house-made sauces, and a curated wine list that completed the experience — all served with the warm hospitality that defines the region.

Supper club-style ice cream drinks are a cherished tradition here — creamy, decadent, and nostalgic.

Non-alcoholic milkshakes — in generous portions — are also a hit, with classic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and toffee, perfect for sharing.
