Anato reveals that Brazil will be the featured international destination at the 2025 Vitrina Turística
Bogotá, Colombia – Preparations are underway for the 44th edition of ANATO’s 2025 Vitrina Turística, scheduled for February 26, 27, and 28. This annual event gathers over 50,000 tourism industry professionals who present their innovations, trends, and services, fostering strategic partnerships.
This year, Brazil will be the featured international destination, offering a comprehensive presentation of its cultural, historical, gastronomic, and natural diversity. Highlights of the country include its renowned beaches, the Amazon ecosystem, major cities, festivals, and much more.
“The presence of Brazil as the featured international destination represents a key strategy to enhance its tourism promotion and strengthen ties with Colombia. This event serves as an ideal platform to explore its tourism offerings beyond the traditional, and vice versa,” said Paula Cortés Calle, Executive President of ANATO.
According to figures from Migración Colombia, cited by ANATO, over 106,000 Brazilian tourists visited Colombia between January and October 2024, marking a 2% increase compared to the same period in 2023. Meanwhile, more than 58,613 Colombians traveled to Brazil during the same period, also reflecting a 2% growth.
“We hope Brazil’s participation as the featured destination will drive new business opportunities, the opening of air routes, and an increase in operational frequencies,” added Cortés Calle.
The ANATO Vitrina Turística continues to establish itself as a key platform for tourism development in the region, connecting Colombia with the world and opening doors to new collaboration opportunities.
