With convenient lodging options and exciting cruises departing from Fort Lauderdale, the city solidifies itself as a must-visit tourist destination for international travelers, especially for those seeking a complete experience before or after their cruise.

During the recent IPW 2024 in Los Angeles, we had the privilege of speaking with Nadine Bankley, representative of Rodeway INN & Suites and Quality INN & Suites hotels, present at the Visit Lauderdale booth. Bankley shared exciting details about the properties and services offered for travelers visiting Fort Lauderdale, with a special focus on pre and post-cruise stays.

"We offer two hotel options for our guests," explained Bankley. "One of them is our Quality Inn and Suites in Hollywood, Florida, and the other is our Roadway Inn and Suites in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Both of our hotels specialize in pre and post-cruise stays. We offer complimentary transportation from both the airport and the cruise port, making it very convenient for all guests. Additionally, we provide free breakfast and Wi-Fi, so we aim to make it an all-inclusive experience for our travelers visiting the destination."

Bankley highlighted the additional convenience they provide by offering transportation to local areas, as well as the unique option of day stays for cruisers with late flights. "Instead of returning to the airport at 7:30 in the morning and having to wait for a late flight, we offer a day room for our guests," she added.

From the port of Fort Lauderdale, cruises depart from Royal Caribbean and Disney, among others. "Royal Caribbean, a leader in this industry, will soon introduce its new flagship, Utopia of the Seas, which will offer 3- and 4-night itineraries starting in July 2024."
