Crowds of guests arrived outside Hogwarts Castle at Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park Friday to raise their wands and pay tribute to the late actor.
Fans of the late actor Robbie Coltrane gathered in front of Hogwarts Castle in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando on Friday to pay tribute to the man who played Hagrid in the popular films. Coltrane died Friday at a hospital in his native Scotland. He was 72.
The renowned Scottish actor was most famous for his roles as Hogwarts gamekeeper and later Professor Rubeus Hagrid in the eight “Harry Potter” films, as well as Valentin Zukovsky in the James Bond films “GoldenEye” and “The World is Not Enough.”
