Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday reached Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail to meet his son Aryan Khan who has been lodged there since October 8 after his arrest in the Mumbai cruise drugs case.

Shah Rukh Khan's meeting with Aryan lasted about 16 to 18 minutes in the visitation section. There was a glass partition between them and they spoke over the intercom. Jail authorities were present at the section when SRK spoke to Aryan.

Physical meetings at the jail were prohibited during the Covid-19 pandemic. These restrictions ended on Wednesday and Thursday was the first day of physical meetings in Maharashtra jails.

Drugs case Updates:

Actor Ananya Panday has also been summoned by the NCB in connection with the Mumbai cruise drugs case. She is being questioned by NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede. Ananya Panday was summoned after NCB retrieved her chat messages from Aryan Khan’s phone. The Mumbai special court on Wednesday rejected Aryan Khan’s bail plea along with those of Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha. Aryan Khan and 7 others were arrested in the Mumbai cruise drugs case on October 3. Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is currently lodged in the Arthur Road prison.
