The Narcotics Control Bureau told the court that the son of actor Shah Rukh Khan had been consuming drugs regularly for the past few years.

Mumbai cruise drugs case: The hearing on Aryan Khan's bail plea has begun. Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3 in connection with the seizure of banned drugs on board a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. So far, 20 people have been arrested in the case. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has accused Aryan of procuring drugs, while Aryan's counsel has maintained that no drugs were found with his client during raids. The probe agency also claimed to have unearthed global links related to Aryan Khan.

Aryan Khan's lawyer Amit Desai said in court, "The WhatsApp chats are extrajudicial confessions, which are weak kinds of evidence."

He added, "Let's not take away the liberty of the boy due to this. The court can impose conditions to make him available for investigation. It is a fit case for grant of bail."

The lawyer has closed his arguments by saying that Aryan Khan has no criminal antecedents.
