Classes 9 to 12 can attend physical classes from September 1. On the other hand, as per sources, Classes 6 to 8 may resume offline classes after a week.

A committee formed by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Wednesday submitted a report on reopening schools. The committee recommended reopening schools in the National Capital for all classes.

The decision to reopen the schools in Delhi was taken in a DDMA meeting on Friday at noon which saw the attendance of Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia, Health Minister Satyendar Jain, NITI Ayog member VK Paul, AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria and others.

Sisodia, addressing a press conference at the Delhi Secretariat, shared the details related to the reopening of schools.
