Florida coronavirus update for Sunday: Nearly 750 killed in state as nationwide toll approaches 40,000.
The latest on coronavirus in Florida: Schools closed for the rest of the academic year; a list of senior living facilities impacted by the pandemic; and the number of cases and deaths across the state. Nationwide, there are over 735,000 cases and over 39,000 deaths.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced he would be putting together a task force focused on reopening the state in three separate phases, two weeks after issuing a statewide stay-at-home order amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“We want to see people back to work for the long haul, we want to continue with Florida’s economic development strategy,” DeSantis said.
