The chartered jet was carrying 81 people, including members of a Brazilian soccer team. Officials say there are 6 survivors

Aviation authorities in Colombia are to analyze black boxes they have retrieved from a fatal plane crash in the country's central region.

The chartered jet was carrying 81 people, including members of a Brazilian soccer team. Officials say there are 6 survivors.

The plane took off from Bolivia and went down in a mountainous region of Colombia near the city of Medellin on Monday night.

Officials say a rescue team has so far recovered 72 bodies from the site, and they are working to identify them.

Authorities suspect the plane had electrical problems.
They're analyzing the communication log and other flight data recorded in the black boxes.

Members of Brazil's Chapecoense soccer team were on board. They were on their way to play in the finals of the South American Cup on Wednesday.
