Kimi Antonelli takes pole in Austin and moves closer to the Formula 1 world title
The Mercedes driver beat Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar to secure first place on the grid for the United States Grand Prix. The 20-year-old Italian could become the youngest world champion in Formula 1 history on Sunday if the race results go his way. Franco Colapinto qualified 14th but faces a 10-place grid penalty.
