Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort is joining Fundacion ABO’s Make Aruba Pink campaign throughout October with a series of initiatives focused on breast cancer awareness, health education and meaningful support for people affected by the disease.

The collaboration combines screening education, experiences connecting participants with Aruba’s natural environment and “The Gift of Rest,” a complimentary four-night stay for one person facing breast cancer.

According to Crescenzia Biemans, the initiative builds on the resort’s longstanding commitment to its associates and the local community. Last year, Bucuti & Tara introduced annual health checkups tailored to women’s and men’s health needs, and the partnership with Fundacion ABO expands that focus.

Throughout October, the resort will feature pink ribbon pins, pink orchids, an illuminated pink resort sign and a signature pink mocktail. Guest communications and social media content will explain the purpose behind the campaign, while the resort’s monthly beach cleanup will also connect its environmental initiatives with support for the local community.

A key activity will take place on October 25 at the Bucuti & Tara–GMC Nature Preserve, where Bucuti & Tara and Fundacion ABO will welcome people affected by breast cancer for an experience centered on nature, reflection and companionship.

Participants will be invited to take part in gentle mindfulness and grounding activities, learn about local herbs and their role in Aruba’s wellness traditions, and plant trees that will contribute to the restoration of the protected area.

The partnership also includes The Gift of Rest, a complimentary four-night stay for one person facing breast cancer. Individuals may submit their own story or be nominated with their permission.
