The Caribbean island shares a booth with Avis, Star Clippers, La Playa & Palm Court, Caraïbes Incentive and Caribbean Emotions at the 48th edition of the trade fair.

The Saint-Martin Tourism Office is taking part this week in IFTM Top Resa, France's leading travel trade show, held September 15-17 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris. The event draws more than 32,000 tourism professionals and around 450 exhibitors, making it one of the key business platforms for the French outbound market.

A Shared Booth With Strategic Partners

The Caribbean destination is showcased at booth G024 alongside a group of local partners: car rental company Avis, the Palm Court & La Playa resort in Orient Bay, sailing cruise operator Star Clippers, and receptive travel agencies Caraïbes Incentive and Caribbean Emotions. The lineup — spanning transportation, lodging, cruises and incentive-travel specialists — is designed to give visiting professionals a full picture of what the island offers.

This year, the Saint-Martin Tourism Office once again serves as the official partner of the Guadeloupe Islands Tourism Board (CTIG) at the fair, an alliance first launched in 2025 that reflects growing cooperation between France's Caribbean territories.

Goals: New Contacts and New Products

According to the Tourism Office, the presence at Top Resa aims to connect with industry players, present new offerings from the destination, and strengthen ties with partners and market professionals. Over the three-day event, the team is meeting with tour operators, airlines, cruise lines, travel agency networks from the French, Belgian and Swiss markets, as well as media and industry influencers.

A Key Event for French Caribbean Tourism

IFTM Top Resa has long been the main showcase for France's outbound and inbound tourism sectors, and a mandatory stop for France's overseas destinations. The joint presence of Saint-Martin and Guadeloupe seeks to position the French Antilles as a tourism bloc with complementary offerings, amid growing regional competition for European travelers.

For Saint-Martin, the fair comes at a time of hotel renovation and new product rollouts, making the Paris event a concrete opportunity to position those developments with France's travel distribution chain.
