In the context of IPW 2026, where the main players of the global tourism industry gathered in Greater Fort Lauderdale, one of the most talked-about proposals at the trade show was Decision Tactical, which stood out due to the strong flow of visitors to its booth and its positioning as one of the most innovative experiences at the event.

Located in the exhibition area, the company attracted the attention of tour operators, media outlets, and industry professionals, consolidating itself as one of the busiest spaces at the entire trade show.

An immersive experience combining tourism and decision-making

During the presentation, the company’s Sales Director, Mayra Pettus, explained the concept behind the proposal, defining Decision Tactical as an immersive “theme park-style” experience where visitors actively participate in decision-making simulations under high-pressure scenarios.

“It’s like a theme park, but the participant is the one who decides the final outcome. We are not just a shooting range, but an experience about decision-making before acting,” Pettus explained.

The executive detailed that the main objective of the attraction is to train the ability to think under stress, promoting calmness, effective communication, and rational decision-making in highly stimulating environments.

“We want people to learn how to calm down and make efficient decisions before acting,” she said.

Strategic location near Orlando and family-oriented approach

Decision Tactical is located in Sanford, in the northern Orlando area, approximately 18 minutes from downtown, positioning it within one of Florida’s most important tourism corridors.

Pettus also highlighted its proximity to the state’s major theme parks, such as Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld, which facilitates its integration into family travel itineraries.

The experience is designed for both adults and children, with a recommended minimum age of 7 years, always accompanied by specialized guides throughout the activity.

Safety, simulation, and experiential learning

One of the most important aspects of the proposal is its focus on safety and controlled simulation. According to the spokesperson, the experience does not use live ammunition and is based on immersive scenarios similar to action video games.

“It is completely safe. It’s like being in a Call of Duty or Fortnite game, but with an educational approach,” Pettus said.

The activity aims to generate learning through direct experience, allowing participants to understand how to react in stressful situations without real risk exposure.

In addition, the staff is composed of professionals with military and security backgrounds, adding an additional layer of realism and training.

The most visited booth at IPW 2026

Decision Tactical was one of the highest-traffic points at IPW 2026, standing out due to the constant flow of visitors and the interest generated among international buyers and specialized media.

Its combination of entertainment, simulation, and training positioned it as one of the most talked-about experiences at the trade show, in an event that each year seeks to highlight innovative tourism products within the U.S. market.

In a context where the tourism industry increasingly focuses on immersive and differentiated experiences, the presence of Decision Tactical reinforced the trend toward proposals that combine technology, experiential storytelling, and active learning within Florida’s tourism ecosystem.
