Greater Fort Lauderdale amplifies global presence with TPIE, Brand Evolution and Florida Huddle
Greater Fort Lauderdale continued to assert itself as a premier meetings and tourism hub in early 2026, with Visit Lauderdale and its partners marking three high-impact actions that spotlight the destination’s strength in business events and brand momentum. These activities included the Tropical Plant International Expo at the expanded Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, the unveiling of the refreshed “Never Lose Your Splash” brand at the Annual Marketing Luncheon, and participation at Florida Huddle and Florida Encounter in Orlando, where Deezer Loaderley represented Visit Lauderdale across all platforms.
The Tropical Plant International Expo (TPIE 2026) brought over 450 exhibitors from more than 50 countries to Fort Lauderdale, turning the newly expanded Broward County Convention Center into a global showcase for horticulture and trade innovation. This event further cemented the region’s appeal as a venue capable of attracting large-scale, internationally relevant business shows.
Shortly after, Visit Lauderdale hosted its 2026 Annual Marketing Luncheon, the most attended since 2019, where it unveiled a refreshed brand campaign titled “Never Lose Your Splash.” The initiative, grounded in local culture and water-centric identity, positions Greater Fort Lauderdale as an unforgettable destination for both leisure and meetings, leveraging immersive storytelling and integrated marketing strategies to drive awareness globally.
From February 2–4, Visit Lauderdale expanded its presence in the Florida meetings circuit at Florida Huddle and Florida Encounter in Orlando, bringing the destination’s luxury offerings, 24 miles of beaches and extensive waterway network to planners, hosted buyers and industry press. Through one-on-one appointments, networking sessions and targeted presentations, the team — including Deezer Loaderley — reinforced Greater Fort Lauderdale’s competitive positioning in the Sunshine State’s professional travel markets.
Together, these three actions illustrate Greater Fort Lauderdale’s strategic push across tourism, meetings and trade channels, driven by a refreshed brand story and sustained by active global engagement. With international trade shows and planners events on the calendar throughout 2026, the destination is harnessing momentum to grow both leisure and business tourism demand.
