Fort Lauderdale, FL – Visit Lauderdale recently hosted the “Let's Make Waves: Mobilizing for IPW 2026” event at the Broward County Convention Center, highlighting the anticipated impact of hosting IPW 2026 in the city.

The event brought together community and industry leaders for a series of inspiring keynotes, focused sessions, and practical tools designed to inform attendees about the opportunities surrounding IPW 2026. As the official host city for the U.S.’s largest international travel trade show, Fort Lauderdale is preparing to welcome travel professionals from over 70 countries from May 17–21, 2026.

IPW 2026 is expected to generate an estimated $14.2 billion in economic growth over the next three years, providing a significant boost to the local tourism industry and putting Greater Fort Lauderdale in the global spotlight.
