They say there’s magic in every corner of Orlando—and that’s exactly what we felt staying at Terra Luna, one of Universal’s newest hotels opened in 2025. Modern, comfortable, and perfectly located across from the stunning Epic Universe, this prime value category hotel is ideal for those wanting the full Universal experience… with the relaxing comfort of a luxury space capsule.

From the moment we arrived, Terra Luna’s shimmering façade dazzled us: thousands of reflective panels that change color with the daylight and weather greet guests like a portal to another galaxy. Inside, the lobby offers a warm, futuristic welcome. The entire property is designed with a sleek, space-inspired aesthetic—earthy tones, wide curves, and subtle spacecraft details.

Developed by the award-winning Universal Creative team and operated in partnership with Loews Hotels & Co, Terra Luna Resort joins Universal Orlando’s hotel collection with a fresh and accessible concept. The hotel features 750 bright and modern rooms, as well as several dining options for every time of day. From the moment you step inside, you’re immersed in an imaginative solar system of comfort, adventure, and themed relaxation.

Classified as a Prime Value Hotel, Terra Luna is ideal for those looking to enjoy Universal’s perks without stretching their budget. The rooms accommodate up to four guests with two queen beds and windows reminiscent of a space station—perfect for unwinding after a day of adventures. The hotel features a resort-style pool with a hot tub and fire pit, a state-of-the-art gym, a game room, and a Universal Resort Store stocked with the latest fan merchandise. Dining options include Omega Cafe and Market for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the stylish Luna Bar in the lobby, and casual eats at Moonrise Grill and Moonrise Bar by the pool.

Our room had everything we needed: comfy beds, spacious storage, minimalist décor and a large window with a view. Room keys are engraved with your name—a special keepsake to take home.

Among the common areas, highlights include the pool, hot tub, game room, gym, and multiple dining spots. As in all Universal hotels, you’ll also find a cafe and a Universal Studios Store, where you can pick up anything from sunscreen to souvenirs.

Exclusive perks for Universal hotel guests

Staying on-site comes with major benefits that truly enhance the experience:

  • Early park admission (one hour before general public).
  • Free shuttle transportation to all parks and Universal CityWalk.
  • Use your room key for purchases throughout the resort with customizable spending limits.
  • Have your purchases delivered directly to the hotel so you don’t carry bags all day.

Travel Tip: One Day per Park

Important: Universal Orlando Resort now has FOUR theme parks. To truly enjoy them, you need to plan at least one full day per park. Doing them all in one day is simply not feasible.

  1. Universal Studios Florida
  2. Islands of Adventure
  3. Volcano Bay, the water theme park
  4. Epic Universe, the newest and most ambitious park

Epic Universe is simply breathtaking, with five immersive worlds:
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD
How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk
Dark Universe
Celestial Park
