Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort of Aruba at the Caribbean Travel Marketplace 2025
In the vibrant setting of the Caribbean Travel Marketplace 2025, held this year in Antigua and Barbuda, the renowned Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort of Aruba arrived with plenty of reasons to celebrate and continue captivating travelers worldwide. The iconic resort was recently honored as #1 in the Caribbean and #5 in the world according to TripAdvisor’s prestigious Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best 2025 awards, and also announced exciting new developments that will further elevate its luxury sustainable hospitality offering.
During the event, we spoke with Crescenzia Biemans, Chief Corporate Officer of the resort, who shared the team’s excitement:
“We are very happy about this historic achievement. Being named among the best in the world, out of more than 1.6 million hotels evaluated, is an honor that reflects our commitment to excellence, sustainability, and guest experience,” Biemans said, highlighting that only a select 0.001% of hotels make it into this category.
But the good news doesn’t stop there. Bucuti & Tara is preparing to open this summer its new culinary gem: Terra, a restaurant led by the renowned Michelin-starred chef Jeremy Ford.
“The name Terra, which means earth in Italian, reflects a very special concept: an author’s cuisine with a strong local identity, fresh island ingredients, and products from our own farm in Homestead Aruba,” explained Biemans. This addition further establishes Aruba as the Caribbean’s gastronomic capital, with Bucuti & Tara at the forefront of this transformation.
The resort’s presence at this key event for regional tourism was also a strategic opportunity to strengthen partnerships and share visions.
“It has been very positive to reconnect with our partners, meet new distributors, and above all, reinforce this Caribbean unity. We are a growing region, and sharing our strengths helps us all,” Biemans stated.
One of the highlights during the Caribbean Travel Marketplace was the sustained growth of tourism in the region, including the increasing flow of visitors from Argentina.
“We have seen interesting growth in the number of Argentine passengers traveling to Aruba, and we want this to keep rising. Bucuti & Tara is ideal for those celebrating special moments, for those seeking a romantic, peaceful, and memorable experience. We invite everyone to live it,” she concluded.
With only 104 rooms facing the world’s most beautiful beach, in an intimate, safe, and carefully designed setting for rest, Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort continues to position itself as a global benchmark for conscious luxury, where every detail is designed to reconnect, celebrate, and enchant.
