Vitrina Turística ANATO: The Premier Annual Tourism Event in Colombia Expands Exhibition Space by 14%
Just hours before the most important tourism event in Colombia and the region, the Vitrina Turística de ANATO 2025 is preparing to welcome over 50,000 industry professionals in Bogotá. This event, taking place from February 26 to 28, will feature a 14% expansion in exhibition space, reaching 40,000 square meters and bringing together over 1,500 exhibitors and co-exhibitors from 32 countries and all regions of Colombia.
A Key Stage for Tourism
According to Paula Cortés Calle, executive president of ANATO, “this event will define the tourism packages that travelers will be able to enjoy throughout 2025.” The business meetings and commercial alliances formed in this space will be crucial in strengthening the industry and boosting Colombia's tourism offering in international markets.
Brazil and Santa Marta, Honored Guest Destinations
This year, the Vitrina will feature special participation from Brazil and Santa Marta as honored guest destinations. These delegations will showcase their rich culinary, cultural, historical, and natural heritage, reaffirming their appeal to both national and international travelers.
Additionally, for the first time, China and Andorra will have exhibition spaces at the event. The return of countries such as Ecuador and Guatemala is also noteworthy as they seek to strengthen their commercial ties with the Colombian tourism sector.
Innovation and Training in Tourism
In Pavilion 3, ANATO Capacita Tech, version 2, will be held, a space dedicated to training in digital marketing, artificial intelligence, tourism trends, legality, and security. In this same area, projects such as Destinos de Paz, the Network of Heritage Towns of Colombia, Sustainable Tourist Destinations, and exhibitors of tourism products with a social impact will be presented.
Moreover, attendees will have the chance to enjoy interactive experiences, such as a traditional Colombian game of tejo and an immersive dome showcasing Colombia's National Natural Parks.
Gastronomy Takes the Spotlight at ANATO 2025
The 44th edition of the Vitrina Turística will also place a central focus on gastronomy with the "Colombia at the Table" space, where local chefs will present the country's culinary diversity. Additionally, the IPES Market Plaza will offer indigenous products to highlight cuisine as a tourism attraction.
ABC MUNDIAL at ANATO 2025
The CEO of ABC MUNDIAL, Karina Giorgenello, enthusiastically announced the media's participation in the Vitrina de ANATO. At this event, Raúl Zapata, director of ABC MUNDIAL in Colombia, will be formally introduced. He has led the Bogotá office for the past year, strengthening relationships with the trade and travel agents.
“From ABC MUNDIAL Colombia, with exclusive content for the local market, we aim to highlight the importance of Colombia as one of the top four destinations visiting our website,” said Giorgenello, referencing the impact of their media in countries like Argentina, Chile, Peru, Mexico, the United States, Costa Rica, Honduras, Puerto Rico, and Spain.
