The bustling press conference led by Visit Lauderdale's CEO, Stacy Ritter, marked a milestone by highlighting the region's top news and the palpable excitement leading up to IPW 2026.

Under the campaign "Everyone Under the Sun," Fort Lauderdale aims to promote itself as a welcoming destination for all types of visitors. Stacy Ritter emphasized the attractions that make this city unique, from its picturesque beaches to its diverse gastronomy, a variety of hotels, and a wide range of entertainment options.

For soccer enthusiasts, especially Latinos, the news that Fort Lauderdale is home to the team stadium where the star Leo Messi plays is a highlight in the local entertainment offer.

"Our goal is to highlight the flavors, traditions, and unique attractions that make Fort Lauderdale a global melting pot, as cultural diversity is ingrained in the destination," expressed Ritter.

Among the region's standout experiences, visitors can immerse themselves in nature with over 20,000 exotic butterflies at Butterfly World, explore animal life at Flamingo Gardens and Bonnet House with its museums and gardens.

For shopping enthusiasts, the options at Sawgrass Mills and Las Olas Boulevard are a must-visit. In terms of events, the agenda is diverse, ranging from cricket and hockey championships to music festivals and LGBTQ+ celebrations.

Additionally, an ambitious expansion project of the Broward County Convention Center was announced, with a $1.3 billion investment, which will include new outdoor spaces, a hotel connected to the center, and modern technological facilities. This center will host IPW 2026 from May 18 to 22.
