At the height of the spooky season, Disney Cruise Line unveils the Haunted Mansion Lounge, a new bar inspired by the iconic Disney Parks attraction, The Haunted Mansion. Passengers will enjoy spirited craft cocktails among 999 cheerful spirits for the first time aboard the Disney Treasure when it sets sail in December 2024.

The unique experience will invite guests to participate in the next chapter of the Haunted Mansion, centered around the story of a jovial captain who entered the ghostly realm after a disastrous dinner with his beloved fiancée. A custom musical adaptation inspired by the attraction's original score, composed and adapted by composer Shruti Kumar and Walt Disney Imagineering, will set the stage for an ever-escalating anthology of illusions that will immerse visitors in the mysterious tradition of the Haunted Mansion.

Legendary characters from Haunted Mansion attractions in Disney Parks worldwide, as well as new seafaring arrivals, will socialize in mysterious ways throughout the experience. The venue will follow the nostalgic artistic style of the classic 1969 Disney Parks, and true to the original attraction, the Haunted Mansion Lounge will blend humor with Disney's distinctive spooky trademark.

The design of the Haunted Mansion Lounge will evoke the image of a first-class drawing room from the classic transatlantic liners of the golden age, invoking inspiration from the original Haunted Mansion with a nautical twist. The lounge will include tributes to Disney Parks attractions, from the iconic purple wallpaper framed by wooden finishes to a mantel clock above a cozy fireplace and a distinctive purple armchair in the corner. Guests will also encounter some new eerie faces in a portrait gallery depicting the Disney Treasure's own ghostly residents.

In the Haunted Mansion Lounge, visitors will enjoy a variety of themed cocktails such as the "Sympathetic Libations," a non-alcoholic blend of blood orange and sour cherry served in a special cup. They will also be able to try the "Eerie Delight," a delicacy flavored with ube with hints of sweetness and nuttiness, adorned with a gummy eyeball and ube glitter. Another standout option will be a spooky twist on the classic margarita, presented amidst swirls of flavored smoke with a secret message revealed only under black light.

Additionally, the venue will offer a variety of unique souvenirs, such as the "Haunted Mansion Lounge Music Box," supposedly belonging to the captain's bride and only opening in the presence of malevolent spirits. Also available will be the "Haunted Mansion Lounge Mantel Clock," similar to the one seen in Disney's original attraction, and a "Haunted Mansion Lounge Sculpted Mug" featuring a design of an octopus and a hidden Mickey Mouse-shaped barnacle. Guests can take home the "Haunted Mansion Lounge Mirror," which will reveal a spooky surprise with the appearance of hitchhiking ghosts.
