Authorities in India have confirmed the arrest of the men involved in the gang rape of a Spanish influencer. Vicente and Fernanda, a couple who have been sharing their travel experiences for over five years through their Instagram profile @vueltaalmundoenmoto, were attacked during their camping trip in the Dumka district, located in the eastern part of the Asian country.

A Spanish influencer of Brazilian origin, who was traveling with her husband in the Dumka district, Jharkhand state, India, reported being raped by a group of seven men. The incident reportedly occurred when they stopped to camp during their motorcycle journey in a remote area in the east of the country.

Days ago, three of those involved in the alleged attack were arrested, and in their statement, they mentioned five more names. With this information, they located the other suspects, leading to the total arrest of eight individuals, as stated by Pitamber Singh Kherwar, a senior police official.

She was gang-raped by seven men, four of whom have already been detained. Meanwhile, he was beaten to prevent him from intervening in the sexual assault, as described by the couple. Nevertheless, both appeared in a video posted this Monday on an Instagram story, asserting that "there is much more security in Asia than in Europe."
