USA and Japan talk about free trade in the definitive agreement TPP

Japan will make efforts with the United States to create specific rules within the Asia-Pacific region and form a free trade area where people, goods and capital could move freely.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has said he is beginning to see a final agreement on the Japan-US talks on issues related to the negotiations of the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TPP).

Abe made the remarks in a speech in Tokyo for a meeting of political and business leaders from Japan and the United States. The Japanese leader said he would like to make efforts with the United States to create specific rules within the Asia-Pacific region and form a free trade area where people, goods and capital could move freely.

Abe said he and US President Barack Obama had issued a joint statement on their vision in their recent summit, where they confirmed that their two countries to mutually cooperate for peace and prosperity.

The Japanese prime minister also expressed hope to see Japan and the United States contribute to peace and stability in the region under its new guidelines for defense cooperation.
