The Export Promotion Council Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics (CHEMEXCIL) of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India and the Indian Embassy in Argentina today present the first exhibition of Chemicals and Cosmetics India in Buenos Aires , to be held on 24 and 25 February 2015 at the Sheraton Buenos Aires. The two-day event has the support of the Argentina Chamber of Chemicals (CAPQ) and Argentina Chamber of Dyes and Pigments (Carfa). After two successful rounds of negotiations organized by CHEMEXCIL in recent years, this exhibition will be held for the first time on a large scale in order to create a larger and more organized for buyers and sellers in India and Argentina platform.
This is a unique opportunity for the main buyers of Argentina to interact with Indian manufacturers so we can purchase products they need in India. Under one roof, potential Argentine buyers, distributors, end users will gather for two days in meetings scheduled with significant Indian delegation comprising 50 manufacturers and exporters of chemicals, dyes and cosmetics, who will have booths to showcase their products and give information about their companies.
This exhibition is of great importance, as it has been organized at a time when bilateral trade between India and Argentina is rising and exports from India to Argentina chemicals have increased from USD 79.55 million in 2012-13 to USD 86.96 million during 2013 -14, registering a growth of 9%.
The Exhibition will be inaugurated by the Ambassador of India in Argentina SE, Amarendra Khatua, the Executive Director of the Council for Promotion of Exports of Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics India (CHEMEXCIL), SG Bharadi, the president of the Argentina Chamber Chemicals (CAPQ), Mr. Ignacio dos Reis, president of the Argentina Chamber of Dyes and Pigments (Carfa), Mr. Carlos del Santo and Secretary of Department of International Economic Negotiations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina, Ambassador Adrian Nador.
