The Indian Embassy in Buenos Aires announced that in the coming days will come to Argentina a large delegation of Indian businessmen to participate in a Business Roundtable dedicated to the chemical and cosmetics industry. In that sense the Promotion Council of India Chemicals (CHEMEXCIL), an organization sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, said it will be a great opportunity for business.
Basic, pharmaceutical and cosmetic advice Export Promotion popularly known as CHEMEXCIL chemicals is set by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India in 1963 in Mumbai with the aim of promoting exports of the following items India to various countries abroad. These items have been grouped into separate groups IV: Group - I: Dyes and dyes intermediates, Group - II: basic inorganic and organic chemical products, including Agrochemicals Group - III: cosmetics, soaps, toiletries and Essential Oils Group - IV: castor oil and its derivatives in order to meet the needs of exporting members located in different regions, CHEMEXCIL has its regional offices in New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. One of the main functions of CHEMEXCIL is an interface with industry and the Government of India to develop export-oriented policies and to create a favorable environment for increasing exports of the above items in India.
CHEMEXCIL helps exporters in identifying and resolving potential markets export limitations and operating limitations. CHEMEXCIL helps importers / buyers abroad to locate suitable suppliers, organize the meeting of Buyer-Seller and also provide most updated market information. It also helps to make a smooth trade agreement between buyers and sellers to provide completely free total service package. CHEMEXCIL also participates in international exhibitions held abroad and invited delegations abroad to India to promote exports from India and establish long-term strategic alliances. In short, it is a "contact point" for supplying any information about exporting the above products in India. The wide-ranging structural reforms resulting in unwinding the complex knots controlled economy has allowed the country to integrate into the global economy.
This radical change and change in the mindset helped CHEMEXCIL play a complementary role and act as a catalyst committed to the promotion of exports of the above items. This can be evidenced by the rapid growth of CHEMEXCIL membership base across the country, as well as progress in exports of Chemical groups over the past 50 years. The results of total exports of the above elements within the jurisdiction of CHEMEXCIL during 2013-14 was US $ 13,183,520,000 compared to US $ 12,418,220,000 the corresponding period last year, registering a growth rate of 6.16%.
