An innovative technique that relies on the power of photographic images
Since 2012, a team of professionals is working in Argentina with an innovative technique that is already applied in different parts of the world: Therapeutic Photography. Is to develop the expressive ability of people drawing photography as a medium. There are several successful experiences in the field of education and in the clinical field of health.

The Java licensed explains that so far there have been several research projects and photographs, some of which have participated as the sole representative of Latin America in European festivals. Currently there are several lines of research in progress, both in the field of mental health, as well as documentary and artistic character.
An example of this development is the "Maggie Project", a 20-year-old with a diagnosis of Cri du chat syndrome and severe developmental delay. Over the years she has overcome that barrier and now can communicate with the people around her, both by word and also through photographic expression, achieved an integration, acceptance and resilience, ie able to develop the capacity that human beings have to face the pain and traumatic experiences.
Custom photography therapeutic classes began on February 21, 2014 in an experience that is unprecedented. After four months Maggie was inserted as a student in a group of adults among which there were, an accountant, a lawyer, a driver transport a psychologist, a baker, and a psychologist and many other people of different occupations. The inclusion and the ability to communicate through such direct and family photography as language is allowed to mature and experience a learning model based on imagination and artistic production.
The results so far have been amazing, Maggie learns by imitation and has identified different functions SLR camera, the zoom to zoom in and out objects; recognize the name photographic accessories, correct frames in portraits and what is most important: enjoy an inclusive environment.
Currently this technique is applied by the team of Therapeutic Photography Motivarte School.
