This year, the event will be held between 14 and 24 November at the Centro Cultural Borges, Buenos Aires, as headquarters. All events are free admission.

It is with great pleasure that we present the VI Festival of India in Buenos Aires. This year, the event will be held between 14 and 24 November at the Centro Cultural Borges, Buenos Aires, as headquarters. All events are free admission. In turn, there will be activities in different parts of the Capital. The particularity of this year is that the festival is dedicated to Argentine women. For the same reason, all activities will be inaugurated by prominent women of Argentina, political, famous people, and Ambassadors of different diplomatic missions in the country.

In this edition, and as on previous occasions, we will have a beautiful display of crafts, jewelry, decorative items, silver and wood products, clothing and other items from India, sent to Buenos Aires thanks to the Council for Promotion of Indian Handicrafts (EPCH). In addition to more than 40 stalls exhibiting and selling unique products from India, the Festival brings award-winning artists who will demonstrate live the art of craftsmanship. The fair will be honored by the visit of main Secretaries of the Government of India. In turn, there will be live music (vocal and instrumental), dance of India, among which include classical dances of Odissi, Kuchipudi, Bharatnatyam and Khatak, plus sets of popular Bollywood dance, with the participation of talented artists of Argentina and India.

Among other activities, there will be a seminar on "Doing Business with India" to be held in Argentina Chamber of Commerce; Seminar on Tourism Tours and travel opportunities to India, where different agencies are presented with options to discover the magic of the country in all its splendor. Regional Seminars on Yoga, Spirituality, Indian Kitchen, Theatre Studies Ayurveda and India that attract popular interest in the presence of distinguished speakers and experts will be organized. We will also have a special exhibition of photographs of India for the visual delight of the entire audience.

Similarly, almost every night at 19.15hs will be a Film Festival in the same Borges Center, where the magic of Indian Cinema to the City of Buenos Aires will approach. And turn off the Borges Cultural Center, the Festival presents two Mega Events in the Parks of Palermo. By working together with the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, the public can attend the event OUTDOOR YOGA longer a Bollywood dance show that will involve more than 60 dancers and the entire audience. Events are open to all age groups and is the invitation to participate and immerse themselves in the concepts of Yoga and Wellness throb to the beat of energetic Bollywood dance and music.

Of course, we can not forget the acclaimed Food Festival of India, which like every year, will be held at the Sheraton Retiro from 19 to 23 March. Also, there will be two sporting events in honor of India: November 22, along with the Association of Cricket Argentino, organizes Cup India, a cricket tournament at St. George's College, Quilmes, with the same objective last year, convey the sport to the Argentine people. The November 23 event will be held at Polo Estancia Villa Maria as part of events to promote the Festival and for being such an important sport in Argentina culture. The opening and closing events will have the words of senior politicians Argentina national and provincial level; but as we advance this year will have the presence of iconic women.

As you know, this is an event that requires hard work and collaboration of all stakeholders. So we turn to you for that, as every year, to help with the dissemination and promotion. We hope that Argentine citizens to participate in the Festival, and this further strengthen the warm friendship between the two countries.
