The violent situation, tinted disagreements, Republican viability curtailed, but the gesture still lingers and excited the embrace between the two great leaders of the moment: Ricardo Balbin and the founder of PJ

Argentines we have a brilliant opportunity to rethink politics as a sphere of fraternal encounter and developing viable on the 40th anniversary of the death of Juan Domingo Perón proposals.

We say that the opportunity is ripe because the situation in the country demands of all men and women of greatness gestures, the implementation of positive social values and the strengthening of democracy from the rule of law and the Constitution.

Perón is the example of what we propose. An inspiring support. Elected three times as constitutional president and after a long exile returned to the country with arms outstretched to the adversaries political parties. He came to achieve national unity around the common denominators of the democratic forces. He brought in his suitcase that doctrinal "truth" transformed "to an Argentine I could not get any better than another Argentine." And was the most beautiful music in their ears: the word of the people.

The last Perón ultimately sought synthesize democratic life that circumstances denied. The violent situation, tinted disagreements, Republican viability curtailed, but the gesture still lingers and excited the embrace between the two great leaders of the moment: Ricardo Balbin and the founder of PJ.

That embrace buried a way of interpreting the politics and history. Both leaders moved toward integration capable of synthesizing the best of the past. Because in the old folk roots nourishing sap has democratic institutions. They were responsible, they were wrong, but were large indeed and left them to new generations a hopeful and constructive lesson: it's never too late for dialogue, it is never too late to preserve the unity that overcomes suicidal division, it's never too late to bury the hatchet and fly the flags of freedom, peace and social justice.

That Peron is current. Republicans and their social values are a solution to the crisis and the challenges of the time. So you have to rethink politics from those values that enrich the plurality and diversity. With intelligence and patriotism. With rationality and coherence.

No one is wrapped in the city recognition as Perón if life was not able to plant the national unity. So all sectors of public life he was fired and wept. In a way, a bit of Argentina and unfortunately would not let a replacement to match the particular time that was lived.

However, those ashes reborn militants and popular aspirations, love intact, high forehead and retempering spirit. The best tribute is this: a commitment to continue uniting those who think differently for an egalitarian Argentina. For much struggle worth betting the future with our current Peronist identity.
