Invented device for charging cell in 20 seconds

The prototype won the first prize at the Intel International Science Engineering Fair for one great invention

With only 18 just had a brilliant idea that stunned the world. Eesha Khare won the first prize at the Intel International Science Engineering Fair after presenting her invention: a small device that can recharge the batteries of cell phones in just 20 seconds.

"I'm stunned. I can not believe this happened, “she told CNN Khare, a senior year at Lynbrook High School in Saratoga, United States. The device is a kind of super capacitor rectangular just over two inches long, you need a period of between 20 and 30 seconds.

"I developed a new supercapacitor, which basically is an energy storage device that can hold a lot of energy in a small amount of volume," she said. The award includes a $ 50,000 prize, which Khare used to attend Harvard. According to Intel, more than 1,500 young scientists from around the world were selected to compete at the show last week.
