Costa Classica will join Costa neoCollection concept and will be renamed Costa Neoclassica. The first cruise, lasting 26 days, called From Egypt to the Spice Islands, Savona leave the December 18, 2014

Costa Cruises expands the concept of Costa neoCollection, a new style of travel "slow cruise" designed to make the most of every minute cruise at a leisurely pace. As of December 2014, and after a major reform, the Costa Classica (53,000 gross tons and 654 booths) will join Costa neoCollection itineraries with the new name Costa Neoclassica. Along with the Costa neoRiviera and Costa neoRomantica boats will offer cruises to unique destinations, with magnificent natural scenery and cultural attractions, places that are inaccessible to larger vessels, including some that have been declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The arrival of Costa Neoclassica coincide with the introduction of new destinations and new itineraries brand. The first cruise, lasting 26 days, called From Egypt to the Spice Islands, will leave Savona on 18 December 2014. During the European summer season 2015 Neoclassica Costa will departure every Saturday in an exclusive one-week cruise, Istanbul and the Greek Islands. The itinerary includes Rhodes (Greece), Kos (Greece), Samos (Greece), Izmir (Turkey) and then back to Istanbul, where you can spend a full day and overnight before the final return home. On this cruise the guests can relax on the beautiful beaches of the Greek islands, and at the same time enjoy the natural beauty, history and culture.
