The Buenos Aires Mayor Mauricio Macri, today officially opened the first public school bilingual Argentine-Chinese under an agreement with the city of Beijing, with the support of the Chinese government, and held that with this fact "we are taking an unprecedented and historic public education step.”

We have done and are confident that this model of integration will give us great satisfaction, because it builds future for our children and youth, "said Macri this afternoon after touring the facilities of the kindergarten N ª 11 located on street ducks 3042, in the neighborhood of Parque Patricios.

The aim is to formally launch from 2015 the first grade bilingual in Spanish and Chinese mode. Furthermore, from 4th grade a second foreign language will be incorporated.

Macri was accompanied by the Ambassador of China, Yin Hengmin, the Cabinet Chief Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, and Education Minister Esteban Bullrich.

For his part, Ambassador Yim Hegmin stressed that the agreement "helps and strengthens the integration and coexistence between Argentina and China and is very important for future generations of both nations."
