The ministry of Industry and Computing of China granted 4G licences to three mobile phone’s operator of the country.
The ministry of Industry and Computing handed to China Movil, China Unicom and China Telecom, licenses that allow to initiate commercial services fast mobile technology, the 4G network, in the world's largest smartphone market.
The licence is specific for the TD-LTE standard developed in China, and not for the FDD-LTE international standard
So far, the ministry of Industry and Computing has received requests of the three operators and has conceded the appropriate license for each one of them
The ministry announced that there will be experimental tests of the FDD-LTE network and will hand the appropriate licenses, once the proof of the combination of FDD-LTE with TD-LTE is viable.
